Ampersand scratchboard 5x7. I could clearly make the difference between ampersand and scratch-art scratchboard that I usually use. This one is much more easier to work with and the board does not get damaged easily.
Time taken :- about 4 hours

I saw this sketch of a baby violet green swallow and was wowed! The artist has captured the essence of this little bird brilliantly. The angles in the face and body, the fluffy feathers, the details in how he sits on the wire. The shading is incredible.
This piece nearly comes to life, you can almost expect it to literally fly off the page. The only details lacking are the little intricacies of the birds feet, but you have to look close to notice this. It doesn't hurt the piece at all. In fact, even though this was done in black and white, the differences in shading almost give it a sense of color, especially near the back of the neck area. I think this is a wonderful piece!
Impressive amount of details at first I see, You're spending a lot of time on detailed development of Your works. That's making them rly realistic!
Btw, about this bird..., some1 noticed that it's grumpy. I think it's suprised or ... I don't know, but not grumpy I'm far away from performance You're taking with all Your works ( now You're my skill target ^^)... All I can is to wish You good luck and perseverance for future Greetings
This was one of my earlier boards when I was still figuring out the scratchboard techniques. This is one I have not sprayed yet, so I might color it later and add more details.
