5x7 scratchboard

Scratching completed except for the whiskers. Not sure whether to color it or not. But usually I end up coloring most of my boards.

This is so beautiful! I actually like the black and white better, but that could be because I like snow leopards more lol. Regardless both this and the colored ones are beautiful!

Thanks! I'm watching the video. It makes me appreciate even more your work . Sounds long to do to me and take patience! But I have 2 more questions .The video doesn't tell which texture your scratching on . Also, when you apply color it is with which medium.sorry for having much questions but it is interesting.

The board I scratch on is an ampersand scratchboard [link]

It is a white clay coated masonite board which has a small outer coating of Indian ink. When you scratch it, the white clay under it is exposed.

I use either inks or acrylics to color it. In the video I used ampersand inks.
